WORSHIP
WORSHIP
& MUSIC COMMITTEE MEMBER: Plan worship life for our congregation,
including the selection of hymns and planning special worship services.
WEDDING
COMMITTEE MEMBER: Help revise/update guidelines for weddings and/or funerals.
READER: Read the scriptures of the
day during worship service with expression and clear voice. Scripture lessons will be mailed in advance.
Assist with communion.
LITURGIST: Chant or speak liturgical
parts of worship service; assists with communion.
Usher: Help members and visitors find seats, collect
the offering, usher communion, check pews after service for items left in pews,
and count number of people present at worship. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before
service. One-time brief training session.
Sound/powerpoint technician: Work sound and projection
system during worship services or other programs. Training provided.
ACOLYTE
COORDINATOR: Assign and keep Acolyte Schedule; take care of robe repairs and
cleaning.
ALTAR
GUILD: Set up and clean altar before and after each service; meet usually
two to three times a year.
ARTS
GROUP: Choose and display art work to enhance worship. Meet once a month.
